Andrew J. Beck is an accomplished actor, theatrical director and producer with almost 20 years in the industry. Andrew has also worked with Ed Asner, director Elizabeth Falk, acted with Austin Pendleton, Peter Lewis, among others. Favorite roles include Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde (Oscar Wilde), Jesus Christ Superstar (Judas), West Side Story (Tony), Man of La Mancha (Sancho Panza), The Glass Menagerie (Tom), Bus Stop (Dr. Lyman), Nice Work if You Can Get It (Cookie McGee), Urinetown (Officer Lockstock), The Threepenny Opera (Mack’s Gang), Cabaret (Ernst Ludwig). Andrew was in the original off-Broadway cast of Most Likely To: The Senior Superlative Musical and The Black Count of Monte Cristo. Andrew is a natural goof and brings his brand of sheer insanity and intensity to everything he puts his mind to. His booming tenor voice has lent itself to all types of music from Rock, to Opera, to Broadway. Andrew has parlayed this talent into a burgeoning voice acting career. He is the narrator and producer of the audiobook version of Suburban Sins, by his late father, Joseph Beck.
Andrew is the Producing Artistic Director of Outta Bounds Productions. He was also the former Artistic Director of Bluebox Theatre Company. Andrew has directed award winning productions of Blackbird (BW World NOMINEE - Best Play, Best Actress) , The Motherf$%&er With the Hat (BW World WINNER - Best Play of the Decade Long Island, BW World NOMINEE - Best Director, Best Ensemble, Best Actor, Best Actress) The New York Premiere of ACME: A Company that Makes Everything (BW World NOMINEE - Best Sound Design, Best Play, Best Actor), Den of Thieves, 12 Angry Men, Bug, Grease, Dog Sees God, Songs for a New World, Back to the 80's and various readings on Long Island and in NYC. Andrew has worked with Creative Concept Productions as the Associate Producer and company representative of A Homecoming in the FringeNYC. Outta Bounds Productions is currently in post-production of the film Our Lady of Queens starring Austin Pendleton. They have also mounted 3 productions of the Long Island Premiere of an originally adapted stage version of Night of the Living Dead, giving Long Island audiences a Halloween tradition.
Outta Bounds Productions is a multi-faceted production company located in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Andrew most recently was the event director for Warehouse Works Reading Series; a DIY, underground reading series featuring the works of 12 playwrights and 26 actors over 3 nights. Previously, Andrew event directed The Collective’s Fall Festival, a 2 day theatre and arts/music festival in a massive parking lot, concluding with an adapted “Shakespeare in the Park…ing Lot.”
Andrew is the founder, owner and CEO of Groundling Coffee Company, an online coffee company that donates 5% of profits to organizations that help keep arts in public schools in NYC.

Andrew is a long time singer/songwriter. He plays guitar, bass, mandolin and harmonica. Ever elusive, if you squint hard enough, you will see him performing at an open mic, or showcase.
He also enjoys cooking, collecting records, video games, football, professional wrestling, doggies and animated comedies.
